Hi - I am Emma – Founder of EGVA – I absolutely LOVE helping people, it’s in my bones – I have been doing it for over 14 years now and wouldn’t change a thing! My career started out as a chef (?), moved onto events management, then a merchandiser in the fashion industry... I know right! It was here where I got my first taste of being a PA and have not looked back since. In each role I have encountered I have gained so much knowledge I felt it time to spread the love some more by starting EGVA back in May 2018 and it’s been going great guns!
There’s nothing more I like than a challenge... you need a jet, got it! You need a chef at home, done. But I am also more than happy working on your emails and getting that inbox down so you can use your skillset to run your fantastic business.
Something I live by – I will never ask someone to do something I am not prepared to do myself!

Since completing my A levels back in... well it was a while ago!, I’ve always worked in an office environment. Even my stint in McDonalds whilst at 6th form had me in the office not the kitchen! Nothing to do with my cooking skills – honest. When I joined the Royal Navy, I joined as a Writer, yes, you’ve guessed it... office based.
My work has been varied to say the least, I’ve managed fleet and mobile communication for over 300 people within the facilities management sector and then scrubbed warehouses clean for a fashion company. I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty but I particularly love data entry, if there’s a boring monotonous job that you hate doing, you can guarantee I will love it.
I have 3 boys, 2 dogs and a husband, the boys are nearly all old enough to take care of themselves now so in my down time I’m happy on a dog walk with the hubby, or curled up on the sofa with a book. I used to run but now it’s more of a steady jog!
